2nd Mile Marker Spotted at Urban Tri

The mile marker for the second mile of Woodsy was found hanging out at Urban Tri in South Minneapolis today.  Seems to me it's going to stay put for a couple months inside the store until it's needed on the trail.  We hear there's a large population of Black-Capped Chickadees in the area.  Stop into Urban Tri and ask Todd if he's seen any lately.  We're betting he will have.

Remember, everyone who's in Woodsy will have the chance to walk away with one of these one-of-a-kind birdhouses made out of reclaimed wood.  Don't think about it too much, just register to Get Woodsy!

7.24.11

All of the Headsweats SuperVisors have been claimed!  There's still room in the First 100 group though, and more info to come on what you'll receive as a member of that pack shortly.

Get a Headsweats SuperVisor

The next five people who register for Muscle Milk Woodsy will receive a Muscle Milk Headsweats SuperVisor.  This ultra low weight visor has a high-tech wicking elastic band that will help you if you sweat.  And last we heard, most people sweat.

Woodsy Woodshop

7.14

So we have been busy in the Woodsy Woodshop lately.  The mile markers on course will be birdhouses made of reclaimed wood.  Each birdhouse will be unique, and you may just be lucky enough to leave the race with one of these wooden gems.

The trail is made, but the photoshopped map is in the making.  Check back to see what nine miles of Woodsy looks like.

First Hundred

6.14.11

The Woodsmen are currently whittling a commemorative gift for each of the first one hundred folks who register to compete in the inaugural Muscle Milk Woodsy.  Now we can’t promise we’ll be able to make anything out of wood that you’d want to call your own, but we can promise whatever we give you will be worth making sure you’re one of the first to hop in the woods.
